Prepaid balance
Each organisation has a prepaid balance in US dollars. Calls draw it down, and there is no subscription.

Image calls
An image call costs the sum of the image prices of the tasks it asks for.

Video jobs
A video costs the number of frames processed times the sum of the per-frame prices of its tasks.

Refunds
If a call fails, its charge is refunded to the balance.

Top-ups
Organisation admins top up the balance by card, from $25 to $1000. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout, and the credit is added when it completes.

Where do I find the price of each task?
GET /v1/tasks lists every task with its current prices. The billing and credits guide explains how they combine for image calls and video jobs. Billing and credits guide
What does the free credit cover?
New accounts get $5 of credit once. It is spent the same way as a paid balance, on any task, until it runs out.
What happens when my balance runs out?
Calls are refused with a 402 insufficient_balance error until an organisation admin tops up the balance.
How do I know what a call cost?
Every response includes usage with the units processed and cost_usd.
